Originally formed in 2008 in New York City, New York, The Knocks is an American electronic music duo that is currently signed to Big Beat Records and Neon Gold Records. While specializing in a variety of musical genres such as EDM, electronic, dance, nu-disco, house and many more, they have quickly become a one of a kind group in the music industry. The Knocks have cultivated a large group of very loyal fans and followers including over 100 thousand likes on their Facebook page, over 50 thousand followers on their Twitter feed, and over 50 thousand listeners on their SoundCloud account. Their music videos have been viewed millions of times online, such as his video for the hit song “Classic feat. Powers” which has individually racked up over 3 million views on YouTube. The Knocks are currently gearing up for their first nationwide tour of the United States, which will begin in Summer of 2018.Since first breaking out on to the music scene in 2008, The Knocks have released a total of 1 full length studio album which is adored by their fans and music critic alike. Their debut studio album titled 55 became an instant hit, while their second album is slated to hit shelves sometime in 2018. The Knocks have worked with and performed alongside some very talented and respected artists, such as X Ambassadors, Wyclef Jean, Captain Cuts, Mat Zo, and many more. It seems that the sky is the limit for the success of the young electronic music duo, as their popularity and fan base rapidly grow exponentially larger by the day.
