Originally formed in 2001 in Boston, Massachusetts, Soul Clap is an American DJ and production duo that releases their material through Soul Clap Records. The duo consists of DJ/producers Eli “Elyte” Goldstein and Charles “Cnyce” Levine. They specialize in a vast variety of musical genres such as house, funk, disco, reggae, hip hop, and many more. They have cultivated a large group of very loyal fans and followers including over 165 thousand likes on their Facebook page, over 150 thousand listeners on their SoundCloud account, over 50 thousand followers on their Twitter feed, and their music videos have been viewed hundreds of thousands of times online, including the video “Soul Clap Boiler Room NYC DJ Set” which has individually racked up over 235 thousand views on YouTube. In January of 2016 it was announced that they were one of the acts chosen to perform at the very popular and massive music festival Coachella 2016 in Southern California.Since first breaking out on to the music scene in 2001, Soul Clap has released 3 full length studio albums, 8 extended plays, and a large catalogue of singles and remixes, which are highly respected amongst fan and critics alike. They frequently tour all over the country and have performed on some very prestigious electronic music tours such as Decibel Festival, Electric Forest Festival, Osheaga Festival, Detroit Electronic Music Festival, and very many more. They are quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with in the DJing and producing worlds, as their popularity and fan base continue to rapidly grow exponentially larger by the day. It seems that the sky is the limit for the blossoming stars’ careers, after the duo has catapulted themselves into the spotlight of the electronic music industry.
