Nervo Talent Bio:
NERVO is a DJ duo consisting of Miriam and Olivia Nervo, twin sisters from Australia. In addition to being DJs, Miriam and Olivia Nervo are music producers, songwriters, and models. Both sisters studied at Genazzano FCJ College in Kew. Initially, they were models with the Australian Chadwick Models Agency. Also, they were ambassadors at the L’Oreal Fashion Festival. The sisters were accepted itno the Opera Australian Academy, but chose to pursue music instead. NERVO signed with Sony/ATV Music Publishing at 18 years old. This began the duo’s career in songwriting. In 2005, Rachel Stevens released “Negotiate With Love”, a song written by the duo, and which reached tenth position in the United Kingdom music charts. In addition to writing the song for Rachel Stevens, NERVO has also written songs for Ke$ha, Ashley Tisdale, and the Pussycat Dolls, among others. In 2008, NERVO signed with Razor Boy, a small independent Swedish publisher. That same year, NERVO co-wrote “When Love Takes Over”, which was performed by David Guetta and Kelly Rowland. “When Love Takes Over” won the group a Grammy and was ranked the number one dance pop collaboration of all time by Billboard. In 2010, NERVO announced a recording deal with Virgin Records/ EMI Music. Later that year, NERVO released “This Kind of Love” through Loaded Records which went number one in the world club charts. That same year, NERVO wrote “The Way We See The World”, a track written with Afrojack which was also used as the anthem for that year’s edition of Belgium’s Tomorrowland. Their next single, “We’re all No One”, features Afrojack and Steve Aoki, and reached number one in the UK’s club charts. The summer of 2010, the duo signed to Wilhelmina Agency and appeared on Pacha. In 2011, they began hosting a monthly show on Sirius Radio, which they called NERVOnation. And in 2013, they released a single which topped the U.S. dance chart.
