Originally formed in 2003 in Toronto, Canada, Crystal Castles is a Canadian electronic music group that is currently signed to Fiction Records. The group consists of current members Ethan Kath (production, songwriting) and Edith Frances (vocals), who come together to create a one of a kind musical sound. The group’s chaotic performances leave their audiences in awe, as they specialize in the musical genres of electropunk, electronica, witch house, synthpop, and many more. Crystal Castles has cultivated a large group of very loyal fans and followers over the years, including over 2.5 million followers on their SoundCloud account, over 1.5 million likes on their Facebook page, and over 150 thousand followers on their Twitter account. Their music videos have been viewed millions of times online, including their video for the hit song “Not in Love” which has individually racked up over 15 million views on YouTube.Since first breaking out on to the music scene in 2006, Crystal Castles has released a total of 4 full length studio albums, 15 singles, and a large list of remixes which are adored by their fans and music critics alike. They are currently performing at large festivals and reputable venues worldwide, bringing their emphatic live shows to hungry audiences all over the planet. In January of 2017, it was announced that Crystal Castles was one of the acts chosen to perform at the very popular and massive music festival Coachella 2017 in Southern California.
