Counterparts Talent Bio:
Originally formed in 2007 in Ontario, Canada, Counterparts is a Canadian hardcore punk band that is currently signed to Pure Noise Records. The band consists of members Brendan Murphy (lead vocals), Adrian Lee (rhythm guitar), Blake Hardman (Lead guitar, backing vocals), Kyle Brownlee (drums, percussion), and Tyler Williams (backing vocals), who together create a one of a kind musical sound. While specializing in the musical genres of hardcore punk, Metalcore, and melodic hardcore, Counterparts has cultivated a large group of very loyal fans and followers including over 200 thousand likes on their Facebook page, and over 100 thousand followers on their Twitter account. The band’s music videos have been viewed millions of times online, such as their video for the hit song “The Disconnect” which has individually racked up over 1.2 million views on YouTube. Counterparts has performed with some very talented and respected artists over the years, such as Snakecharmer, End, Carrion, Patterns, Venia, and many more.Since first breaking out on to the music scene in 2007, Counterparts has released a total of 5 full length studio albums and 2 Eps which are adored by their fans and music critics alike. Their album titled “The Difference Between Hell and Home” became an instant hit as it reached #7 on the US Billboard Heatseekers Albums Chart, #49 on the US Indie Albums Chart, and #112 on the US Billboard 200. It seems that the sky is the limit for the success of the Canadian hardcore punk band, as their popularity and fan base rapidly grow larger by the day.
