Originally formed in 2007 in Bangor, Northern Ireland, Two Door Cinema Club is an Irish indie rock band that is currently signed to Warner Music Group. The band consists of members Alex Trimble, Kevin Baird, and Sam Halliday, who together create a one of a kind musical sound. They specialize in a vast variety of musical genres such as indie rock, pop, post-punk revival, dance punk, and many more. Two Door Cinema Club has cultivated a large group of very loyal fans and followers, including over 2 million likes on their Facebook page, and over 450 thousand followers on their Twitter account. Their music videos have been viewed millions of times online, such as the video for the hit song “What You Know” which has individually racked up over 36 million views on YouTube. In January of 2017 it was announced that Two Door Cinema Club was one of the acts chosen to perform at the very popular and massive music festival Coachella 2017 in Southern California.Since first breaking out on to the music scene in 2007, Two Door Cinema Club has released a total of 3 full length studio albums which are adored by their fans and music critics alike. The band’s 2nd album titled “Beacon” was an instant hit, as it reached #1 on the Irish Independent Album and Irish Album Charts, #2 on the Scottish Album and UK album Charts, #4 on the Australian Album Chart, and #5 on the US Independent Album Chart. It seems that the sky is the limit for their success, as their popularity and fan base continue to rapidly grow exponentially larger by the day.
