Originally formed in 2004 in Baltimore, Maryland, Beach House is an American dream pop / indie rock band that is currently signed to Sub Pop Records (a division of Warner Music Group). The band consists of members Victoria Legrand (vocals, keyboard) and Alex Scally (guitar, keyboard). They have created and exhibit a very unique, one of a kind sound as they thoroughly entertain audiences everywhere. They have cultivated a large group of very loyal fans and followers including over 575 thousand likes on their Facebook page, over 35 thousand followers on their SoundCloud account, over 165 thousand followers to their Twitter feed, over 50 thousand followers on their Instagram account, and their music videos have been viewed millions of times online, including the video for the song “Myth” which has individually racked up over 4 million views on YouTube. In January of 2016 it was announced that they were one of the acts chosen to perform at the very popular and massive music festival Coachella 2016 in Southern California.Since first breaking out on to the music scene in 2004, Beach House has released a total of 6 full length studio albums, which have been highly appreciated by fans and critics alike. Their third album titled “Bloom” became an instant classic as it reached #1 on the US Alternative and US Independent Album Charts, #2 on the UK Indie Album Chart, #3 on the US Rock Album Chart, #5 on the Norwegian Album Chart, #7 on the US Billboard Top 200 Chart, #8 on the Danish Album Chart, and #10 on the Portuguese and Belgian Album Charts. They have become one of the most recognizable and respected artists in the dream pop industry, as their popularity and fan base continues to grow exponentially larger by the day.
