Originally formed in 2008 in Los Angeles, CA under the name Cherri Bomb, Hey Violet is an American rock band that is currently signed to Hi or Hey Records. The band consists of members Rena Lovelis (vocals), Nia Lovelis (drums, vocals), Miranda Miller (guitar, keyboards, vocals), Casey Moreta (guitar, vocals), and Iain Shipp (bass), who together create a one of a kind musical sound. Hey Violet has cultivated a large group of very loyal fans and followers, including over 500 thousand followers on their Twitter account, over 400 thousand likes on their Facebook page, and over 250 thousand subscribers to their YouTube channel. Their music videos have been viewed millions of times online, such as their video for the hit song “Guys My Age” which has individually racked up over 16 million views on YouTube. Hey Violet specializes in the musical genres of pop punk, punk, pop rock, hard rock, alternative rock, and many more. Since first breaking out on to the music scene in 2008, Hey Violet has released a total of 2 full length studio albums which are adored by their fans and music critics alike. Their debut album (as Cherri Bomb) titled “This Is The End of Control” was an instant hit as it reached #11 on the US Top Heatseekers Albums Chart, and #24 on the US Top Hard Rock Albums Chart. Hey Violet has toured in support of 5 Seconds of Summer twice, and continues to play large festivals and venues around the world. It seems that the sky is the limit for the success of the young California natives, as their popularity and fan base rapidly grow exponentially larger by the day.
