Lights Talent Bio:
Born April 11th, 1987 in Ontario, Canada, Valerie Anne Poxleitner better known by her stage name Lights is a Canadian singer, songwriter, musician, and performer that is currently signed to Warner Brothers Records. While specializing in a variety of musical genres such as electropop, indietronica, electronic rock, synthpop, and many more, she has quickly become a rising star in the industry. Lights has cultivated a large group of very loyal fans and followers, including over 1 million likes on her Facebook page, over 750 thousand followers on her Twitter feed, and over 500 thousand likes on her Instagram account. Her music videos have been viewed millions of times online, such as her music video for the hit song “Second Go” which has individually racked up over 7 million views on YouTube. Lights has worked with some very talented and respected artists, such as Owl City, BLESSTHEFALL, Bring Me The Horizon, Human Kebab, and many more. Since first breaking out on to the music scene in 2006, Lights has released a total of 4 full length studio albums which are adored by his fans and music critics alike. Her 2nd album titled “Siberia” became an instant hit as it reached #3 on the Canadian Albums Chart, #11 on the US Independent Albums Chart, and #47 on the US Billboard 200. Lights has received a variety of awards and recognition for her work, such as the 2015 Juno Award for Pop Album of the Year. It seems that the sky is the limit for the success of the Canadian singer, as her popularity and fan base rapidly grow exponentially larger by the day.
