Willie Taylor Talent Bio:

Born March 29th 1981 in Harvey, Illinois, Willie Madison Taylor III better known as Willie Taylor is an American singer and songwriter best known for competing on MTV’s Making the Band 4. He became a vocalist for the band Day 26 in 2007 after he was chosen by Diddy on the show. He has appeared on multiple seasons of Making the Band 4 as each one focuses on a different aspect of the musical process, and he has also been featured on the second season of VH1’s hit reality TV show Love and Hip Hop Hollywood. He has worked with some very highly respected artists in the industry including Jagged Edge, Avant, Ginuwine, and Joe.

Taylor grew up in Harvey, Illinois where he is very active in the community. He is cherished and adored by many as he had a street named after him, an admirable accomplishment to share with his wife Lashanda, his son Kavion, and his daughter Layla Marie. He began his career in a Chicago based musical group called Kwiet Storm, who had moderate success and released a music video called “Leave Me Alone”, which briefly became part of BET’s music video rotation. He parted ways with Kwiet Storm after ten years to pursue a solo career and released an album titled “On My Way” in 2006. Soon after he put a hold on his solo career after auditioning for Making the Band 4 and successfully begin chosen. He has been recording and performing with Day 26 ever since, and they have achieved much success in the industry.

Taylor first appeared on Love and Hip Hop Hollywood during its second season in 2015. He joined a very interesting and charismatic cast of characters which includes Soulja Boy, Moniece Slaughter, Lil Fizz, Apryl Jones, Omarion, Nikki Mudarris, Ray J, and many more. The show is currently airing its second season on VH1, and Taylor will most likely be making frequent appearances.
