Born June 16th 1988 in Orange County, California, Jillian Rose Banks aka BANKS is an American singer and songwriter that is currently signed to Harvest Records. She delivers a one of a kind vocal sound, while she specializes in the musical genres of alternative pop, alternative R&B, trip hop, electro-pop, and many more. Banks has cultivated a large group of very loyal fans and followers, including over 450 thousand likes on her Facebook page, and over 300 thousand followers on her Twitter account. Her music videos have been viewed millions of times online, such as the video for her hit song “Beggin For Thread” which has individually racked up over 12 million views on YouTube. In January of 2017 it was announced that Banks was one of the acts chosen to perform at the very popular and massive music festival Coachella 2017 in Southern California.Since first breaking out on to the music scene in 2011, Banks has released 2 full length studio albums which are adored by her fans and music critics alike. Her second album titled “The Altar” had very much success as it reached #6 on the US Top Alternative Albums Chart, #8 on the Australian Albums Chart, #9 on the US Independent Albums Chart, and # 17 on the US Billboard 200. It seems that the sky is the limit for the success of Banks, as her popularity and fan base continue to rapidly grow exponentially larger by the day. She currently performs her unique sets for music goers all over the world, and has played alongside some talented and reputable artists in the business.
