Olivia Talent Bio:
Olivia Theresa Longott best known as Olivia, is an R&B singer and reality TV star on VH1’s Love and Hip Hop Atlanta. She is mainly known for being a part of 50 cents’ label G Unit and being featured on his hit singles “Candy Shop” and “Best Friend”. She was born in Brooklyn, New York. She is Cuban, Native American, and Jamaican descent. She attended Bayside High School in New York City, where she studied music. She also attended Five Towns College in Dix Hills, New York. She began performing when she was a teenager.Olivia was the first artist to be signed to Clive Davis’ J Records in 2000. She released her debut album Olivia in 2001 which featured her hit single “Bizounce”. The single hit No. 15 on the charts. She released her second single “Are You Capable” and the album made #55 on the Billboard 200. In 2004 Olivia was the first female to be signed to 50 Cents’ lable G Unit Records. She was featured on the label’s debut album Beg for Mercy and on 50 Cents’ Massacre, which included the single “Candy Shop”. She later released her first single “Twist It” featuring G Unit member Lloyd Banks. In 2005 she released her second single “So Sexy”. Longott decided to go back to school while she worked on her second album. She attended Hofstra University in New York City. In 2006 she released her second album under Interscope and G Unit Records called Behind Closed Doors. She released her single “Best Friend” featuring 50 Cent in 2006.
In 2007 she left G Unit Records and her second album was eventually shelved. She later released the album as a mixtape that was available for download on multiple websites. In 2011 she released her song “December” from her upcoming album called Show The World. The song made it to No. 76 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Song Charts. She joined the cast of Love and Hip Hop New York and released her single “Where Do I Go From Here”. It hit #10 on the iTunes R&B/Soul Charts.
