Taranasha Wallace as known as Tara is an actress and a reality TV star on VH1’s hit series Love and Hip Hop New York. She is known a fellow cast mates Peter Gunz children’s mother. She has been featured in several commercials and also worked in a community theatre.

Tara was born and raised in Mississippi. She attended Jackson State University and received a degree in Dramatic Art and her MFA in acting from NY’s Actor’s Studio Drama School. Fellow alumni include Bradley Cooper, Sally Field, and Paul Newman. She moved to New York City after she graduated college. She wanted to pursue her acting career, she became heavily involved in musicals off Broadway theatre, and various productions. He has performed for multiple famous directors, actors, and producers. She is definitely no new comer to the entertainment industry. She began working at Virgin Megastore on 14th street in Downtown New York City. Her college degree gained her a job at a popular night club and lounge in downtown NYC. She was the club’s manager making over $250,000. She met Peter Gunz and he moved in with her, in her Queen’s apartment. Peter and Tara were together for 13 years. They have 2 boys together: Jamison who is 5 and Kaz who is 2.

Wallace joined Love and Hip Hop New York in season 4. She is considered to be the most normal newcomer to the show. She put her acting career on hold when she had children, but know she is trying to re-establish it. Love and Hip Hop New York follows her story line, unfolding her and Peter’s relationship. They are the most talked about cast members from the show, due to Peter’s infidelity with fellow cast mate Amina Buddafly.
