Case Talent Bio:
Case Woodard, best known as Case, is a Grammy-nominated R&B singer and songwriter. After being apart of R&B group 'Future' and a duo called 'Black', Case began co-writing and singing background for artists such as Usher, Christopher Williams and Al B. Sure. Case claimed his way to fame with a song written by Faith Evans. Case was then discovered by Russell Simmons who signed him to Def Jam Records.Case’s solo career took off with the release of "Touch Me, Tease Me" featuring rapper Foxy Brown and R&B singer Mary J. Blige in 1996, which was featured on The Nutty Professor soundtrack. The record hit gold and reached #4 on the R&B charts and #63 on the Hot 100. His later released his self-titled debut album Case with followed with R&B hit singles "More to Love" and "I Gotcha." With the success of his first album, he followed it with the release of Personal Conversation in 1999. The album featured the smash hits "Happily Ever After" which hit number 3 on the R&B charts and number 15 on the Hot 100. He then released "Faded Pictures," which featured R&B singer Joe and reached number 3 on the R&B charts and number 10 on the Hot 100. "Happily Ever After" featured singer Beyoncé in the video as Case's love interest.
In 2001 he became the first artist on the new Def Soul imprint. He released his third album Open Letter and topped the charts with the Tim & Bob produced hit song "Missing You." Open Letter, Case's most well-known album went gold and it is Case's only #1 single to date as it topped the R&B charts and reached number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. Case also was featured on rapper Ja Rule's hit "Livin' It Up," as well as releasing one more single from his album, "Not Your Friend." In 2014 he signed with eOne, and is currently at work on his sixth studio album titled Heaven's Door set for release in 2015.
