Tank Talent Bio:
Durrell Babbs known by his stage name Tank, is a R&B singer, songwriter and producer. Originating from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and raised in Washington, D.C.. He attended Crossland High and was offered the opportunity to play college football. He didn't choose football as a career instead music was his passion. His later became a background singer for artist Ginuwine on one of his tours. In 2001, Tank released his debut album Force of Nature which included hit R&B Top Ten single "Maybe I Deserve". In 2002, he eleased his second album, One Man and a single titled the same.In 2007, Tank released his third album titled Sex, Love & Pain. It included singles “I Luv Dem Girls". The second single was titled "Please Don't Go". Later that year Tank, Ginuwine and Tyrese Gibson formed a group called TGT. Their very first single was a remix of "Please Don't Go". In 2012, the group signed a contract with Atlantic Records. In 2010, he released his fourth album titled Now or Never. It included collaborations with artists such as Chris Brown, Drake, Letoya Luckett, and many more. The top singles from the album were "Sex Music", "I Can't Make You Love Me", and "Emergency".
In 2012, Tank released his fifth studio album titled This Is How I Feel. Tank collaborated with artists such as Chris Brown, Busta Rhymes, T.I. and Kris Stephens on the album. The song "Compliments", featuring Kris Stephens and T.I., was released as the lead single and he later released "Next Breath" as the second single of the album. In 2013, Tank sung the United States national anthem at the Floyd Mayweather vs. Saul Alvarez fight in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Tank also has songwriting and production credits. He has worked with artists such as Beyonce, Dave Hollister, Aaliyah, Kelly Rowland, Marques Houston, Omarion, Jamie Foxx, Pitbull, Donell Jones and Monica. He is also apart of the production team The Underdogs.
