Moderat Talent Bio:
Originally formed in 2002 in Berlin, Germany, Moderat is a German electronic music group that is currently signed to Monkeytown Records. The group consists of members Gernot Bronsert, Sebastian Szary, and Sascha Ring, who come together create a one of a kind musical sound. Moderat specializes in a vast variety of musical genres such as electronica, house, techno, IDM, and minimal techno, and in 2009 they were rated the #1 Live Act of the Year by Resident Advisor. The group has cultivated a large group of very loyal fans and followers including over the years, including over 450 thousand likes on their Facebook page. Their music videos have been viewed millions of times online, such as their video for the hit song “Bad Kingdom” which has individually racked up over 8 million views on YouTube. In January of 2017 it was announced that Moderat was one of the acts chosen to perform at the very popular and massive music festival Coachella 2017 in Southern California.Since first breaking out on to the music scene in 2002, Moderat has released a total of 11 albums which are adored by their fans and music critics alike. Their unique sets leave eager music goers in awe, as they are constantly touring large venues and festivals all over the world. Moderat’s mixture of crunchy rhythms and party starting rowdiness are just a part of what makes this music group one to watch out for. It seems that the sky is the limit for the group’s success, as their popularity and fan base continue to rapidly grow exponentially larger by the day.
