Originally formed in 2004 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Circa Survive is an American rock band that is currently signed to Hopeless Records. The band consists of members Anthony Green (vocals), Brendan Ekstrom (guitar), Nick Beard (bass, vocals), Colin Frangicetto (guitar, vocals), and Steve Clifford (drums, percussion), who specialize in a variety of musical genres such as indie rock, experimental rock, progressive rock, emo, alternative rock, post-hardcore, and many more. Circa Survive has cultivated a large group of very loyal fans and followers including over 500 thousand likes on their Facebook page, and over 100 thousand followers on their Twitter account. The band’s music videos have been viewed millions of times online, such as the video for their hit song “The Difference Between” which has individually racked up over 2 million views on YouTube. Circa Survive has performed alongside and worked with some very talented and respected groups such as Saosin, Thrice, This Day Forward, Dredg, Mutemath, Taken, Pelican, and many more. Since first breaking out on to the music scene in 2004, Circa Survive has released a total of 6 full length studio albums and 3 extended plays which are adored by their fans and music critics alike. Their latest album titled “The Amulet” became an instant hit as it reached #3 on the US Independent Albums Chart, #4 on the US Top Rock Albums Chart, #5 on the US Top Alternative Albums Chart, and #26 on the US Billboard 200. It seems that the sky is the limit for the success of the famed independent rock group, as their popularity and fan base rapidly grow exponentially larger by the day.
