Born February 18th 1986 in Bothell, Washington, Robert Charles Edward Delong is an American electronic musician who is currently signed to Glassnote Records. He specializes in multiple musical genres including electronic dance music, electronica, indietronica, and moombahton, while he performs keyboards, drums, sampler, and vocals. He has cultivated a large group of very loyal fans and followers including over 65 thousand likes on Facebook, over 25 thousand listeners on SoundCloud, over 25 thousand followers on his Twitter feed, over 20 thousand followers on his Instagram account, and his music videos have been viewed millions of times online, including the video for the track “Long Way Down” which has individually racked up over 1.5 million views on YouTube. He first came on to the electronic music scene in 2010, and since has released 3 full length studio albums and 4 singles. In January of 2016 it was announced that he will be one of the acts performing at the very popular and famed music festival Coachella 2016.DeLong’s debut studio album “Just Movement” was released in 2013. It had very much success amongst fans and critics alike as it reached #18 on the US Dance Album Chart, while his second album “Long Way Down” reached #23 on the US Dance Album Chart in 2014. The single “Long Way Down” gained popularity as it reached #3 on the US Alternative Single Chart, #9 on the US Rock Airplay Chart, and #38 on the US Adult Top 40. He is well known for using various electronic devices to modify his sound such as a Nintendo Wii remote and a joystick, which connect to a MIDI interface to manipulate his sound. His unique style and hard hitting tracks have bolstered his popularity and fan base, as he is quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with inside of the electronic music world. Robert DeLong is an artist to watch out for in the very near future.
