Born July 18th, 1992 in London, England, Sara Grace McLaughlin more commonly known by her stage name Bishop Briggs is an English singer, songwriter, musician, and performer that is currently signed to Island Records. While specializing in the musical genres of indie pop, alternative rock, indie rock, and more, she has quickly become an artist to watch out for in the industry. Bishop Briggs has cultivated a large group of very loyal fans and followers including over 100 thousand followers on her Instagram account, over 70 thousand likes on her Facebook page, and over 40 thousand followers on her Twitter feed. Her music videos have been viewed millions of times online, such as her video for the hit song “River” which has individually racked up over 30 million views on YouTube. Briggs accompanies her one of a kind singing voice on the piano and keyboards, which she frequents while writing her new material.Since first breaking out on to the music scene in 2015, Bishop Briggs has released a total of 2 extended plays which are adored by her fans and music critics alike. Her single “River” became an instant hit as it reached #3 on the US Alternative Singles Chart, #5 on the US Rock Airplay Chart, and #10 on the US Rock Albums Chart. Briggs’ highly anticipated debut album is set to hit stores in mid-2018, as she gears up for a tour in support of its release.
