Disclosure Talent Bio:
Formed 2010 in Reigate, Surrey, England, Disclosure is an English electronic music duo made of brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence. They specialize in a variety of electronic music genres such as house, dubstep, deep house, synthpop, UK garage, UK funky, and future garage. They have cultivated a large group of loyal fans and followers including over 1.7 million likes on their Facebook page, over 540 thousand followers on their Twitter feed, over 600 thousand followers on their Instagram, over 500 subscribers to their YouTube channel, over 1.2 million followers on their SoundCloud account, and their music videos have been viewed millions of times online, including the video for their hit single “Omen” ft. Sam Smith which has individually racked up over 78 million views on YouTube. In January of 2016 it was announced that they will be one of the acts performing at the very popular and massive music festival Coachella 2016 in Southern California.Since first coming onto the music scene in 2010, Disclosure has released 2 full length studio albums which have both had very much success amongst fans and critics alike. Their debut album “Settle” earned them a Grammy nomination for Best Dance / Electronica Album at the 2014 Grammy Awards, while it reached #1 on the UK, UK Dance, and US Dance / Electronic Albums Charts. Their second album titled “Caracal” followed suit while it also reached #1 on the UK, UK Dance, and US Dance / Electronic Albums Charts. They have worked with some very talented and respected artists including Sam Smith, Lion Babe, Gregory Porter, Kwabs, and Lorde. Disclosure is a group to watch out for in the very near future, as their popularity and fan base continue to rapidly grow larger by the day, and they are quickly becoming a household name in the music industry.
