Carnage Talent Bio:
Born in 1991 Diamante Blackmon better known by his stage name DJ Carnage, is an American DJ who has broken out and made a name for himself within the dance music community. He has found great success in the dance scene almost instantaneously, climbing his way to the top in the blink of an eye. His carefree demeanor and infectious personality alongside his hard-hitting beats, whip up crowds into a frenzy that his fans and followers go crazy for. He taps into to multiple genres of music, adding his flavor into every one of them and creating a unique sound.Carnage’s career exploded after releasing his remix of the popular song “Spaceman”, originally performed by the artist Hardwell. He also has creation credit on Riff Raff’s lead single and the arrival of his Sirius XM Radio show is just around the corner. He really likes making his tracks hit as hard as possible, which rang true with the release of his and Tony Junior’s hardstyle-esque single entitled “Michael Jordan”. “It is simply a mythical record, everything I make is celebrated, I’m like a robot” said Carnage when asked why he named the track after the NBA legend. His upcoming tour also pays homage to the former Chicago Bulls Icon, naming the tour ‘6 Rings’ which is the amount of championships Jordan won in his playing career. He said “Jordan won 6 rings. This tour is all about winning the title. Every show is a game and I’m going undefeated.”
The genre of music that Carnage creates depends on the mood he is in on any given day. He said about his creative process, “I really enjoy a life of whatever I feel like doing. It’s Impulsive. If I need to make a rap record I make it, if I desire to make a home record I make it. If I desire to make some pretty sh*t, I make some pretty sh*t”. A testament to his on-a-whim creative process and the attitude that makes DJ Carnage who he is.
