The band is made up of Tyler Connolly (lead vocals, lead guitar, rhythm guitar), Dean Back (bass, backing vocals), Dave Brenner (lead guitar, rhythm guitar, backing vocals), and Joey Dandeneau (drums, backing vocals). The band has cycled through various members and has released a total of 5 full-length studio albums. They have been nominated for multiple awards including a Juno Award in 2003 for New Group of the Year, and a Western Canadian Music Award in 2009 for Rock Recording of the Year. They have cultivated a large group of very loyal fans and followers including over 1.7 million likes on their Facebook page, over 140 thousand followers on their Twitter feed, over 160 thousand subscribers to their YouTube channel, over 21 thousand followers on their Instagram account, and their music videos have been viewed multiple millions of times online, including the video for the song “Not Meant To Be” which has individually surpassed over 9.7 million views on YouTube.Theory of a Deadman has toured with and performed alongside some very respected and reputable artists including Black Stone Cherry, Daughtry, Motley Crue, Godsmack, Drowning Pool, Charm City Devils, Airbourne, Alter Bridge, Pop Evil, Big Wreck, Jordan Cook, Halestorm, and many more. They have had 8 singles make it into the Top 10 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, with the tracks “Lowlife”, “Angel”, and “Bad Girlfriend”, all topping the chart at #1.
