Cassy Talent Bio:
Originally from the United Kingdom and raised in Austria, Catherine Britton better known by her stage name Cassy is an English DJ and music producer. She specializes in techno and house music, and has been described as “an independent and unique individual whose feminine power and sensitive musical flow delivers diverse techno with soul, warmth, elegance and a touch of mystery”. She has cultivated a large group of very loyal fans and followers including over 70 thousand likes on her Facebook page, and her music videos have pulled in a substantial amount of views online, including the video “Cassy 100% Vinyl DJ Set at Hard Wax, Berlin” which has individually racked up over 250 thousand views on YouTube. In January of 2016 it was announced that she was one of the acts chosen to perform at the very popular and massive music festival Coachella 2016 in Southern California.Cassy was first inspired by music while she attended music school at the age of 5, and shortly after joined a local children’s quire in Austria. She grew up listening to many artists which inspire her creation, such as Sade, Talking Heads, Chaka Khan, The Cure, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Spandau Ballet, Sarah Vaughan, and many more. When she moved to Berlin in 2003, she began frequently playing clubs showcasing her talent throughout the Berlin music scene. She quickly became a force to be reckoned with in the electronic music world, and continues to be as her popularity and fan base rapidly grow exponentially larger by the day. She is an artist to watch out for in the very near future, after she has catapulted herself into the spotlight of the DJ industry. Expect big things from Cassy, as it seems that the sky is the limit for her ever growing success.
