Born October 25th 1979 in London, England, Natasha Khan better known by her stage name Bat for Lashes, is an English singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and performer. She has a very unique sound as she accompanies her vocals with a plethora of instruments such as guitar, drums, piano, keyboards, vibraphone, drums, bass, autoharp, harmonium, and synthesizer. She has performed alongside and worked with some very highly respected and talented artists in the industry including Radiohead, Beck, Sexwitch, Coldplay, and many more. She has cultivated a large group of very loyal fans and followers including over 70 thousand followers on her Twitter feed, over 360 thousand likes on her Facebook page, over 17 thousand followers on her Instagram page, and her music videos have been viewed millions of times online, including the video for her song “Laura” which has individually racked up over 4 million views on YouTube. In January of 2016 it was announced that she was one of the acts chosen to perform at the very popular and massive music festival Coachella 2016 in Southern California.Since first breaking out on to the music scene in 2006, Bat or Lashes has released 3 full length studio albums which have been very well received by critics and fans all over the planet. Her latest album “The Haunted Man” released in 2012 made a big splash in the industry, as it reached #6 on the UK Album Chart, #7 on the Irish Album Chart, #8 on the Scottish Album Chart, #12 on the Belgian Album Chart, #13 on the US Alternative Album Chart, # 18 on the Finnish Album Chart, and #21 on the Australian and US Top Rock Album Charts.
