Rvssian Talent Bio:
Born April 12th, 1990 in Kingston, Jamaica, Tarik Johnston more commonly known by his stage name Rvssian is a Jamaican singer, songwriter, entrepreneur, record producer, and entertainer that is currently signed to Head Concussion Records. While accompanying his one of a kind vocal on the drums, piano, and guitar, he specializes in a variety of musical genres such as reggaetón, dancehall, trap, and many more. Rvssian has cultivated a large group of very loyal fans and followers including over 500 thousand followers on his Instagram account, over 200 thousand likes on his Facebook page, and over 50 thousand followers on his Twitter account. His music videos have been viewed millions of times online, such as his video for the hit song “Tu Lo Dejas” which has individually racked up over 350 million views on YouTube. Rvssian has worked with and performed alongside some very resected artists in the industry, including Sean Paul, Tarrus Riley, Shaggy, Vybz Kartel, and many more. Since first breaking out on to the music scene in 2007, Rvssian has received a variety of awards and recognition for his work. In 2014 he was awarded a platinum plaque for his single “Passion Whine”, while in 2015 he won the award for “Favorite Producer” at the 2015 YVA Awards. Rvssian continues to produce top of the line material, while his fans eagerly wait at the edge of their seats for his next release. It seems that the sky is the limit for the success of the Jamaica-born reggaetón superstar on the rise, as his popularity and fan base rapidly grow exponentially larger by the day.
