She has been a force to be reckoned with in the music industry for nearly 50 years, while she specializes in the musical genres of jazz, R&B, folk, and soul. She accompanies her gripping vocals on the piano and keyboards, and has entertained music goers all over the world. Flack has received many awards and achievements for her work, such as 4 Grammy Awards on 13 nominations, 1 American Music Award on 6 nominations, and more. She has cultivated a large group of very loyal fans and followers over the years, including over 500 thousand likes on her Facebook page, while her music videos have racked up a substantial amount of views online, such as her video for the song “Killing Me Softly With His Song” which has individually racked up over 8 million views on YouTube.Since first breaking out on to the music scene in 1969, Flack has released a total of 19 full length studio albums which are adored by her fans and music critics alike. Her debut album released in 1969 titled “First Take” had monumental success as it reached #1 on the US Album and US R&B Album Charts, #3 on the US Jazz Album Chart, #4 on the Canada Album Chart, and #9 on the Australian Album Chart.
