ZHU Talent Bio:
Born in 1989 and active in the music scene since 2014, Steven Zhu better known by his stage name ZHU is a singer and electronic music producer that is currently signed to Columbia Records. He creates a very unique, one of a kind sound while specializes in multiple genres of music such as electronic dance music, electronic, house, and deep house. He has cultivated a large group of very loyal fans and followers including over 200 thousand likes on his Facebook page, over 20 thousand followers on his Twitter feed, over 10 thousand followers on his Instagram page, and his music videos have been viewed millions of times online, including the video for his hit single “Faded” which has individually racked up over 18 million views on YouTube. In January of 2016 it was announced that he was one of the acts chosen to perform at the very popular and massive music festival Coachella 2016 in Southern California.Zhu has entered the electronic music world with a bang, as he has quickly become one of the most respected and recognizable talents that the industry has to offer. He has released 2 full length studio albums which have both been highly appreciated amongst fans and critics alike. His debut album titled “The Nightday” made a big slash as it reached #6 on the Australian Album Chart, while his second album “Genesis Series” reached #11 on the Australian Album Chart as it featured heavy hitters in the EDM game such as Skrillex and AlunaGeorge. Zhu’s identity is quite well kept under wraps per his own request, as he wants to be judged solely on his music alone. It seems that the future is very bright for the career of ZHU, as his popularity and fan base continue to rapidly grow larger by the day.
