Steve-O Talent Bio:
Born June 13th 1974 in London England, Stephen Gilchrist Gilmore better known by his stage name Steve-O is an American comedian, stunt performer, clown, actor, producer, author, TV personality, and game show host. He is best known for his performance stunts on the hit MTV show Jackass, where he and a group of friends performed stunts that most people would consider unthinkable. He rose to stardom from the popularity of the show, as the show’s success launched a series of movies and a spin-off called Wildboyz, which he also appeared on. He has cultivated a large group of very loyal fans and followers including over 10 million likes on his Facebook page, over 2 million followers on his Instagram account, over 1.2 million followers to his Twitter feed, over 3.4 million subscribers to his YouTube channel, and his videos have been viewed millions of times online, including the video of his “Peruvian Jellyfish Stunt” which has individually racked up over 19 million views on YouTube.Steve-O attended the Universities of Miami and New Mexico before he followed his passion and graduated from Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Clown College in 1997. While performing at the Fort Lauderdale Swap Shop as a clown, he began sending videos of his stunts to Big Brother Magazine editor and future Jackass director Jeff Tremaine. Steve-O was later cast as one of the members of Jackass, which instantly became a massive hit in the television industry. He has become a very controversial figure, as his care-free antics quite often land him in trouble with networks and law enforcement. He has become force to be reckoned with in the stunt world, as his popularity and fan base continue to rapidly grow exponentially larger by the day. He is a very interesting and unpredictable figure in the entertainment world, and his fans are always excited for his next stunt.
