Rend Collective Talent Bio:
Originally formed in 2007 in Bangor, Northern Ireland, Rend Collective is a Northern Irish Christian worship band that is currently signed to Integrity Music and Capitol Records. While specializing in the musical genres of Christian experimental, rock, folk rock, worship, and many more, they have become a one of a kind group on the entertainment business. Rend Collective has cultivated a large group of very loyal fans and followers including over 300 thousand likes on their Facebook page, over 150 thousand subscribers to their YouTube channel, and over 100 thousand followers on their Twitter feed. The band’s music videos have been viewed millions of times online, such as the video for the hit song “Build Your Kingdom” which has individually racked up over 13 million views on YouTube. Rend Collective is made up of members Gareth Gilkeson (drums, percussion), Steve Mitchell (bass), Chris Llewellyn (vocals, guitar, ukelele), Ali Gilkeson (keyboards, vocals, aux percussion), Larry Lease (backup vocals), and Patrick Thompson (guitar, strings).Since first breaking out on to the music scene in 2007, Rend Collective has released a total of 9 full length studio albums which are adored by their fans and music critics alike. The band’s latest album titled “Good News” became an instant hit as it reached #1 on the US Christian Albums Chart, #51 on the Canadian Albums Chart, #70 on the US Billboard 200, and #85 on the UK Albums Chart. It seems that the sky is the limit for the success of the famed Christian worship band, as their popularity and fan base rapidly grow larger by the day.
