Born May 23rd 1974 in Payson, Utah, Jewel Kilcher is an American singer, songwriter, producer, poet, author, and actress that is currently signed to Atlantic Records. She has captivated audiences all over the world while she specializes in the musical genres of pop, pop rock, folk, and country. She accompanies her gripping vocals on the guitar and autoharp, and has been a force to be reckoned with in the music industry for over two decades. Jewel has received many awards and nominations for her work throughout her career, such as winning an American Music Award, an MTV Video Music Award, 2 Billboard Music Awards, a Radio Music Award, and has also been nominated for 4 Grammy Awards. She has cultivated a large group of very loyal fans and followers including over 700 thousand likes on her Facebook page, over 400 thousand followers on her Twitter account, and her music videos have been viewed millions of times online, including her video for the hit song “Foolish Games” which has individually racked up over 10 million views on YouTube.Since first breaking out on to the music scene in 1994, Jewel has released a total of 12 full length studio albums which are loved by her fans and music critics alike.
