Ski Mask The Slump God Talent Bio:
Ski Mask the Slump God was born Stokeley Clevon Goulbourne on April 18,1996 in Ft Lauderdale, Florida. His father was a rapper who went by the stage name “Sin City” and pushed Ski Mask to work on his own career early on. An early trip to a juvenile detention center on a small charge in 2013, ended up being a blessing in disguise as that is where Ski mask met rapper XXXTenacion. The two quickly became friends and went on to release music together after they were released. Once Ski Mask was released from juvinelle detention he created the rap group “Very Rare” which included XXXTenacion, he also released his first track “Catch Me” on SoundCloud. Ski Mask then co-founded “Members Only” with XXXTenacion and dropped the mixtape Members only Vol. 1 with the group. Members only Vol.2 and Vol. 3 would be released later. Ski Mask released a few singles to the SoundCloud platform, such as “Where’s the Blow” featuring Lil Pump, “Take a Step Back,” “Baby Wipe,” and “Catch Me Outside” which later was certified Gold, was recorded on an instrumental of Missy Elliot’s “She’s a Bitch.” Ski Mask has been a long-time fan of Missy Elliot, and she praised the track on twitter. Ski Mask then went on to collaborate with a myriad of artists including Offset, Lil Peep, Lil Yaghty, A$AP Ferg, and Desiigner. In early 2016, Ski Mask dropped his first mixtape titled “Drown in Designer,” which included the Gold single “Take a Step Back.” June 2017 brought Ski Masks first commercial mixtape “YouWillRegret,” but it was his third mixtape “Beware the Book of Eli which landed him on the Billboard 200, entering at number 50.
