PRAYERS Talent Bio:
Originally formed in 2013, PRAYERS is an electronic rock duo that consists of members Dave Parley and Rafael Reyes, and is currently signed to a management deal under Undocumented Management. They have a one of a kind musical style as they specialize in a vast variety of genres, and are the first to describe their style as “Cholo Goth”. Their music lyrically explores the harsh truths of gang and street life, while incorporating swelling synthesizers and hard hitting beats. The duo has cultivated a large group of very loyal fans and followers including over 25 thousand likes on their Facebook page, and their music videos have collectively been viewed millions of times online, including their music video “Prayers and the Cholo Goth Movement- Noisey Meets” which has individually racked up over 675 thousand views on YouTube. In January of 2016 it was announced that they were one of the acts chosen to perform at the very popular and massive music festival Coachella 2016 in Southern California.Since first breaking out on to the music scene PRAYERS has released a total of 3 full length studio albums, which are highly respected by fans and critics alike. They have released a handful of successful music videos including “Young Gods”, which was produced by Travis Barker who also produced their third album. The duo sight some of their main influences as Depeche Mode, Christian Death, Bauhaus, Pet Shop Boys, and many more gothic rock acts and darks 80’s musicians. They are becoming a force to be reckoned with in the music industry, as their popularity and fan base continue to rapidly grow exponentially larger by the day. They are a group to watch out for in the very near future, and it seems that the sky is the limit for the success of PRAYERS.
