Lil Twist Talent Bio:
Lil Twist, born Christopher L. Moore, in Dallas, Texas is an American rapper who started rapping as a child on a tape recorder. He has publicly stated that, he knew what he has wanted to do, from the young age of ten, and he proved that expression to be true when he hunted down Lil Waynes recognition until he got it. He released his first single, “The Texas Twist” at ten years old, which locally charted to be a #1 hit in his hometown of Dallas for six consecutive weeks. At the age of 12, he convinced his mother to drive him an hour away from his home town to go to a Lil Wayne concert in Tyler, Texas where he managed to snag a spot for him to perform as an opening act, and after the show he passed along his demos for Lil Wayne and Waynes manager Cortez Bryant. Lil Twist impressed Wayne and Bryant enough to be able to follow their posse around, learning the tricks of the trade as Lil Wayne toured and performed for the next four years to follow, developing his own style, before he was offered to be signed to Lil Wayne and Cortez’s label- Young Money Records. With directive of Lil Wayne’s record company, Lil twist released mixtapes such as “The Golden Child” as well as a single named “Love Affair” to build fans anticipation while they waited for his album release, “Bad Decisions”. He was featured in XXL hip hops magazines, “Freshman Class’ of 2011. Since then Twist has been featured through many opportunities. He was a guest/collaborator in Justin Biebers songs, “Twerk” and “Wind-it”. He also had appearances in recordings by Two Chains such as his song “Do What I Want”.
