Born August 15th 1995 in Austin, Chicago, Daryon Simmons better known by his stage name DLOW is an American dancer, rapper, and choreographer that is currently signed to Dough Street Entertainment. While he specializes in the hip hop genre, his name is an acronym that stands for determined, loyal, optimistic, and willing to learn, which demonstrates his personality and humbleness. He has cultivated a very large group of fans and followers, while millions watch his dance videos online including the “Bet You Can’t Do It Like Me (#DoItLikeMeChallenge King Imprint) video, which has racked up over 7 million views on YouTube. His dance moves encompass a one of a kind style which and names his main influences as Michael Jackson, Usher, Omarion, and Chris Brown, and popular dances such as the “Cupid Shuffle” and the “Cha Cha” which he has tweaked into his own and brought to the next level.DLOW’s career began to take off in 2013 after he met Travon Biggs, who goes by the stage name Lil Kemo, and they started creating videos together. The first video they released was called (DLOW and Kemo (Episode 1), which they released in May 2013. They began to gain very much popularity and began booking parties, school functions, and music videos, which led to DLOW signing a record deal with Dough Street Entertainment. He has released one single “Bet You Can’t Do It Like Me” which reached #16 on the US R&B single chart and #45 on the US single chart, bring his musical career to a brand new height. He is definitely a talent to watch out for in the near future, as his popularity and fan base are continuing to grow bigger by the day. He is on the pathway to becoming a household name in the hip hop/ R&B world.
