Tove Lo Talent Bio:

Ebba Tove Elsa Nilsson is a 27-year-old Swedish born singer and songwriter, better known as Tove Lo. Tove Lo was musically inclined from a young age. She wrote poetry and short stories, and later fine-tuned her talents at Rytmus Musikergymnasiet, a music school in Sweden. . She is best known for her 2013 single “Habits”, which leaked into the mainstream when the track was remixed by hip-hop producer Hippie Sabotage and renamed “Stay High”. Although her debut single “Love Ballad” was released in the previous year, it never gained her as much attention as “Habits” did in 2013. Her debut EP followed in March 2014 and was titled “Truth Serum” which included both versions of the track. She played her first show in the U.S. at the Shameless SXSW Party in March of 2014, followed by her first U.K. show at The Nottinghill Arts Club in London the next month. Her EP made it to number twenty on the Swedish Album Charts, and the single “Stay High” made it to number thirteen on the Swedish Singles Chart. Both her EP and her single climbed charts in countries all around the world before we even saw the release of her debut full-length album in the U.S., which was titled “Queen of the Clouds”, in September 2014. It was also released in parts of Europe and Asia, curtsey of Island Records. Tove Lo was picked up as an opener for Kate Perry in the Australian portion of her Prismatic World Tour. She’s gain recognition from artists like Marina and the Diamonds and top charts such as the Billboard Top 100, reaching number three. She’s written songs for artists like Icona Pop, Girls Aloud, Cher Llyod, and others. 2015 should see even more of Tove Lo, including the U.K. release of her popular new album.
