Miranda Lambert Talent Bio:
Miranda Leigh Shelton best known as Miranda Lambert is a singer who received fame as a finalist on the 2003 season of Nashville Star, where she finished in third place and landed a deal with Epic Records. Lambert made her debut with the release of "Me and Charlie Talking", the first single from her debut album Kerosene that was released in 2005. The album, which was certified Platinum in the United States, also produced the singles "Bring Me Down", "Kerosene", and "New Strings". All four singles were Top 40 hits on Billboard Hot Country Songs.When Epic's Nashville division closed, Lambert went to Columbia Records Nashville for the release of her second album, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, which was released in 2007. Her singles from the album “Famous in a Small Town", "Gunpowder & Lead", and "More Like Her", became Top 20 hits. "Gunpowder & Lead" became her first Top 10 country hit in 2008. In 2009, she released her third album titled Revolution. This album included two Number One hits: "The House That Built Me" and "Heart Like Mine". Lambert has also been honored by the Grammy Awards, the Academy of Country Music Awards, and the Country Music Association Awards.
In 2011, Lambert married Blake Shelton and she released her fourth album, Four the Record under RCA Records Nashville. In 2012, she was featured on NBC’s TV series Law and Order: Special Victim’s Unit. She also recorded a song for the movie Hunger Games titled “Run Daddy Run”. In 2014, she released her fifth album titled "Platinum". It contained 16 songs. The album’s lead single, "Automatic," hit top 4 on the Country charts. The album’s second single, "Somethin' Bad", featured Carrie Underwood and it was premiered at the Billboard Music Awards. The album's third single, "Little Red Wagon", was released in 2015
