Josh Peck Talent Bio:
Joshua Michael Peck known as Josh Peck is an American comedian, actor, and director. Everyone knows him from his star role in Nickelodeon’s TV series Drake & Josh. He had a role on The Amanda Show and has starred in films such as Mean Creek, Drillbit Taylor, ATM, and Red Dawn. Peck also was the voice for Eddie in DreamWorks’s Ice Age franchise.Originating in Manhattan, New York, he went to The Professional Performing Arts School. Around age 8 he was inspired to be a stand-up comedian. He performed live in the children’s musical theatre at New York’s TADA! When he was only 9 years old and he performed at the Caroline’s Comedy Club for the Audrey Hepburn foundation, doing stand-up comedy. When he turned 13 he gained a role in Nickelodeon’s The Amanda Show then moved to Los Angeles to continue his acting career. In 2000 Peck starred in his debut film Snow Day and continued his role on The Amanda Show until the show ended in 2002. In 2001 he starred in Max Keeble’s Big Move and was a guest star in the popular NBC show ER. He also starred in various independent films at this time including Spun and Mean Creek, where he received critical praise. His star role in Drake & Josh began in 2004 where he was mainly recognized by young audiences. In 2008 Josh was nominated at the Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards for Favorite Television Actor, for his work with Drake & Josh. He appeared in the series finale of What’s New Scooby-Doo?, Codename: Kids NextDoor, and New Line Cinema’s Havoc. His debut as a director was in the Drake & Josh episode, Battle of Panthatar.
In 2006 Peck had an appearance in a independent film called Special. He also voiced Eddie in the animated sequel Ice Age: Meltdown. In 2008 he landed a role in Drillbit Taylor as a high school bully, continued his role as Eddie in Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, American Primitive, Safety Glass and The Wackness.
