Jerome Jarre Talent Bio:

Jerome Jarre, born in Albertville, Savoie, France is an Snapchat and Vine Superstar as well as an entrepreneur. Mainly, his Vine videos consist of playing pranks on complete strangers which made him considered to be the 4th most followed individual on Vine in 2014. He also became one of the very first Snapchat celebrities. He gas made Vines featuring Robert De Niro, Pharrell Wiliams, Ashotn Kutcher, Ansel Elgort, and Kristen Bell. Jarre co-founded GrapeStory, which is a talent agency for Snapchat and Vine Stars.

At the age of 19 Jerome dropped out of business school and moved to China where he learned to speak English and Chinese. He created several business start-ups while he was in China. One of his businesses took off and it did very well. He used the money he made to move to Toronto, Canada where he first heard of Vine when it first launched. He left his business to put all of his time and energy into Vine. 2013 was the year Jarre posted his first Vine video the day that Vine first launched. His Video “Don’t Be Afraid of Love” became one of Vines viral videos and was also featured twice on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. It only took 6 months for Jarre to reach 20,000 followers.

After his appearance on Ellen DeGeneres his followers peaked to 1 million followers within a month. With much success Ellen asked him to cover the 86th Academy Awards Red Carpet ceremony, where he made Vines with various Hollywood actors. In 2013 Jarre started a series on vine called Humans where he would ask strangers, “what important message would they like to shae with the world right now?” He also co-founded GrapeStory in 2013 along with Gary Vaynerchuk. The talent agency connects mobile content artists with top brands who are looking for marketing. As of August of 2013 they have 20 to 30 vines stars under their belt.

Later in 2014 Jarre was hired to cover the 2014 Cannes Film Festival and at the Tribeca Film Fesitval 2014 he was a juror for the 6 second films competition. After his claim to fame and massive following on Vine he made an account on Snapchat. Jarre makes 2-minutes story telling videos. One of his featured stories was about a carrot named Stromae who was looking for her father. He then created a Snapchat right outside of the Snapchat office asking them to let him in the office.
