Tujamo Talent Bio:
Matthias Richter aka Tujamo is an electro-house producer and DJ born in Detmold, Germany in 1988. He has played at some of the biggest and most popular EDM festivals and venues on the planet including Exchange Los Angeles, Beyond Wonderland, Street Parade in Zurich, Winter Music Conference, and many more. He has a very loyal following as he keeps his fans entertained with hard hitting productions and enthusiastic and energetic performances. He has pulled in over 785 thousand likes on his Facebook page and over 95 thousand SoundCloud followers. He has collaborated, received support from, and remixed tracks of some of the most well-known artists in the EDM world, a list that includes Steve Aoki, Chris Lake, Fedde Le Grand, Bob Sinclair, Avicii, Tiesto, Wynter Gordon, and Peter Gelderblom just to name a few.Tujamo first began DJing in 2006 at the young age of 17. He entered a talent competition that was held at and hosted by Club Index in Schuttorf, Germany. He won the contest and became the resident DJ and began spinning under the name Tujamo. He began releasing singles and started to gain some traction and recognition, as his debut single “Mombasa” was released in 2011. His first international hit released later that year was entitled “Who”, and was a very popular track at Winter Music Conference, a house club located in Miami. He collaborated on the original version of the track with German artist Plastik Funk, but it was when he reworked and renamed the track “Dr. Who”, and featured the British rapper Sneakbo performing vocals, the track began to flourish. “Dr. Who” reached #21 on the UK singles chart and really opened the door for his success, as he began gaining support from some very heavy hitters in the EDM game. Tujamo continues to produce and create music leaving his fans and followers excited to experience his next project.
