The Magician Talent Bio:
Born in Brussels Belgium, Stephen Fasano is a Belgian DJ and music producer better known by his stage name The Magician. He is known for his hard hitting tracks and remixes and doing magic tricks during his performances. He provides listeners with a constant and reliable stream of music, releasing a mix tape every month. The mixtapes which he calls “Magic Tape”, satisfy his fans and followers with the newest and hottest dance tracks form many different genres. With nearly 250 thousand likes on Facebook and almost 200 thousand SoundCloud followers, his popularity continues to rise to a very high level.Fasano began his career as one half of the musical duo Aeroplane, which he co-created with Vito de Luca. He worked on the project for three years before leaving the duo to pursue his own solo career. He later released his first EP entitled “Twist”, on which he collaborated with Yuksek. The EP was released a French record label called Kitsune, and the artist was listed as Peter and The Magician. Over the next 3 years he released 3 singles under the name The Magician, gaining respect and recognition in the music world. The first single entitled “I Don’t Know What To Do” featuring Jeppe Laursen, and the second single “Memory” from Peter and the Magician were both released under Kitsune. The third single “On My Brain” was released under the label Party Fine Music.
The Magicians big break came in 2014 after creating a track featuring vocals from the UK electronica band Years & Years called “Sunlight”. The song has received much recognition from his fans and the industry, as it reached #7 on the charts in Belgium. He performed “Sunlight” in Glasgow, Scotland alongside Years & Years at the 2014 MTV Europe Music Awards. As his career and following continue to grow, The Magician is definitely a name to watch out for in the dance music world.
