The Arcs Talent Bio:
Formed in 2015, The Arcs is an American garage rock band that is currently signed to Nonesuch Records. The band was formed by Dan Auerbach, the vocalist / guitarist of the famed rock band The Black Keys. The Arcs consists of Dan Auerbach (vocals, guitar), Nick Movshon (bass), Leon Michaels (synthesizer, guitar, drum pads, farfisa organ), Richard Swift (drums, percussion, drum pads, keyboard, backing vocals), Homer Steinweiss (bass, drums, percussion), and Kenny Vaughan (baritone guitar, electric guitar). They have a very unique and one of a kind sound, as they specialize in a vast variety of musical genres such as rhythm and blues, psychedelic rock, garage rock, and soul. They have cultivated a large group of very loyal fans and followers including over 30 thousand likes on their Facebook page, over 15 thousand followers on their Instagram, and their music videos have been viewed millions of times online, including the video for the track “Stay In My Corner” which has individually racked up over 500 thousand views on YouTube. In January of 2016 it was announced that they were one of the acts chosen to perform at the very popular and massive music festival Coachella 2016 in Southern California.Since first coming on to the music scene in 2015, The Arcs have released 1 full length studio album. Their debut album titled “Yours, Dreamily” had very much success amongst fans and critics alike, as it reached #27 on the US Album Chart and # 40 on the UK Album Chart. The album’s single “Outta My Mind” reached #17 on the US Alternative Singles Chart, and #27 on the US Rock Singles Chart, while it catapulted them into the music spotlight. Their popularity and fan base continue to rapidly grow larger by the day, and it seems the future is very bright for The Arcs.
