The duo consists of EI-P, a New York City rapper / producer, and Killer Mike, an Atlanta based rapper. They specialize in multiple genres of rap music including alternative hip hop and hardcore hip hop, while bringing a fresh and unique style to the game. They have cultivated a large group of loyal fans and followers including over 150 thousand likes on their Facebook page, over 65 thousand followers on their Twitter feed, and their music videos have racked up millions of views online, including the video for their hit track “Run The Jewels” which has individually been viewed of 2.5 million times on YouTube. In January of 2016 it was announced that they were one of the acts chosen to perform at the very popular and massive music festival Coachella 2016 in Southern California.Since first coming on to the scene in 2013, Run The Jewels has released a total of 2 full length studio albums and 1 remix album, while the 3rd is due to be released sometime in 2016. Their second album “Run The Jewels 2” had very much success amongst fans and critics alike, as it reached #6 on the US Rap Album Chart, #7 on the US Taste Album Chart, and #9 on the Us R&B and US Indie Album Charts. This hip hop duo is a definite product on the rise, as their popularity and fan base continue to rapidly grow larger by the day.
