Rich Dollaz Talent Bio:
Richard Ashton Trowers, best known as Rich Dollaz is an entrepreneur, manager, music executive, and reality TV star on VH1’s hit reality series Love and Hip Hop New York. He is the CEO of his management company called Dollaz unlimited which represents models, musicians, media personalities, actors, and authors. He also launched his new liqueur 79 Gold.Trowers was born in Waterbury, Connecticut but raised in New York City. He attended college in Nashville, Tennessee. After college he moved to Atlanta to work till he heard that Bad Boy Records were looking for help. In 2002 Rich got his first break in the music industry when he landed an internship with P. Diddy’s Bad Boy Records. The name Rich Dollaz came from P. Diddy himself. His first project was Making the Band with Babs and Chopper. He later moved to marketing and promotion. Dollaz began working with singer and songwriter Ryan Leslie. He wrote the song “Me and U” by Cassie, which was Leslie’s girlfriend at the time. They put the song out independently as well as Cherri Dennis “I Love U”. Both songs did well radio wise and that’s what gave Rich Dollaz the spotlight. He has worked with other artists such as Yung Joc, Corey Gunz, and Gorilla Zoe. He eventually left Bad Boy Records and was hired by Universal Music where he is currently their head of Radio Promotion. In 2009 he launched his management company Dollaz Unlimited. He manages former G-Unit artist Olivia Longot.
In 2011 Rich joined the cast of Love and Hip Hop New York as Olivia’s Manager. He has been on the show since the first season. With Olivia off the show, his former relationship with cast mate Erica Mena became a staple in the season. With that over and done with, the focus is him managing different artists and him releasing 79 Gold.
