Rasheeda Talent Bio:
Rasheeda Buckner-Frost best known as jus Rasheedah, is a rapper, businesswoman, fashion designer, and reality TV star on VH1’s hit reality series Love and Hip Hop Atlanta. She used to be a member of a hip-hop group called Da Kaperz when she was a teenager. It was a group that her and two friends started. The group was signed to recording label D-Lo Entertainment. In 2000 she went on to pursue her solo career. In 2001 she released Dirty South through D-Lo and Motown Records. The album featured artists such as Pastor Troy, Thugz Nation, Nelly, and Re-Re. Her first single “Do It” was a success. It gave Rasheedah a huge following in the southern hip-hop genre.In 2002 she released A Ghetto Dream, which was independent due to D-Lo leaving Motown Records. She had assistance with this album from Lil Jon and the Eastside Boyz. In 2004 Rasheedah collaborated with Nivea on her song “You Like it Like That” and on Petey Pablo’s song called “Vibrate”. In 2006 her third album GA Peach was released and she was featured on Nivea’s song “Complicated”. In 2007 she released her fourth album called Dat Type of Gurl. Her hit single from the album was a reprised version of “Got That Good (My Bubble Gum)”. This song was on her previous album GA Peach. She also was featured on Mim’s single “Like This”. She later joined a group called Peach Candy. It is a hip hop and R&B group with singer-songwriter Kandi Burruss. Due to conflicting schedules, the group disbanded.
In 2009 her label D-Lo partnered with Block Starz Music and released her debut mixtape Certified and she released her fifth album Certified Hot Chick. In 2012 she released Boss Chick music which was her sixth album. It was promoted on Oxygen’s Bad Girl Club: Atlanta and Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta. She is currently a cast member on Love and Hip Hop Atlanta with her husband Kirk Frost
