O.T. Genasis Talent Bio:
Odis Flores best known as O.T. Genasis is an American rapper from Long Beach, California. Known to be a overnight success with his instant club bangers. He is currently signed under Busta Rymes’s Conglemerate Records. Known for his popular singles “CoCo”, “Touchdown”, and “Jackie Chan”. Genasis performed in the 2014 BET Hip Hop Awards Cypher including artists Kevin Gates, G-Eazy, and Loaded Lux. His single “CoCo” was No. 26 on Billboard Hot 100.Genasis is the child of Belizean immigrants. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia and grew up in the sunny city of Long Beach, California. His musical influences are bi-coastal and include such artists as T.I., Ludacris, 2Pac, Nelly, and 50 Cent. The streets began buzzing with his track “Jackie Chan” which landed Genasis a deal with G-Unit in 2011. His underground hit “Jackie Chan” featuring artist Dorrrough Music had video play on MTV Jams and reminded people of that classic Master P No Limit sound. Later released from his contract with G Unit he landed another club smash “Takedown”. Noticed by Busta Rymes for his energy and crow response, during one of his performances he got picked up by Conglomerate and dropped various hot freestyles over current hits like Rae Shmurda’s “No flex zone” Chris Brown’s and “Loyal” gaining much popularity. Genasis was also featured on Busta Rhyme’s 2014 mixtape Catastrophic 2.
Cosigned by hot top artists like Lil Wayne and The Game and recieved a spot at the 2014 BET Hip- Hop Awards Rap Cyper he is destined for success. Influenced by the catchy Atlanta hooks and bass lines, to the lyricism from the West Coast; you can hear in his songs he doesn’t have a region based sound.
