OMI Talent Bio:
Omar Samuel Pasley best known as OMI is a singer originating from McLaren Don Jamaica. As a child he found at every location they provided an audience such as church school concert or any other community gathering. He is the son of painter and great musician known as Jah Ken. When all me was nine years old his father past due to emphysema. From then on he said that he will use his talents to keep his family together.OMi attended the May Pen Primary School, before he went on to the Garvey Maceo High School. That's where he started performing and truly became a star in his friends eyes. He was deeply influenced by the hip-hop music genre consisting of beats and raw street poetry. He loved it so much that during class breaks, him and his peers will take turns making hip-hop beats while he would rap. The older he got he gained a liking of singing. He felt it gave more soul and creativity into his compositions.
Omi was discovered by Clifton “Special” is Dillon, who is known as the international talent wizard. He is known for successfully producing and marketing such talents as Shabba Ranks, Patra and Italian reggae singer Alborosie. Omi is inspired by artists Nat King Cole, John legend, and Tonya Stephens. His songs consist of reasoning on social, cultural, and spiritual topics. He's currently under Oufa Media and Production, which is based in Jamaica. They are teaching him every avenue of the music business. As of now OMI is working on his debut album that is not yet titled. He gave a little teaser to his fans on YouTube of his latest single “Fireworks” and a tribute to his mother. He is claiming his way to fame with his current singles “Cheerleader” and “Standing on All Threes”.
