MR. PROBZ Talent Bio:
Mr Probz is a dutch hip hop artist, songwriter and producer of Danish and Antillian Descent. He is known for his introspective rap style and unique voice that has claimed him various positions in the hip hop industry. Probz started at a young age by writing lyrics about his every day experiences as an inner city youth. Born Dennis Princewell Stehn, Mr. Probz got his first big break in 2006 thanks to a role in the film Bolletjes Blues. Soon after he stepped into the hip hop world through his artistic graffiti as well as apprenticing under major rap industry icons such as Eminem's DJ- Alchemist, Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz, Scott Storch, Yukmouth, Grafh, Royce da 5'9", Giorgio Tuinfort (Konvict Music), Wu-Tang Clans Raekwon amongst many others. With those great influences to guide him, he has learned the tricks of the trade with great success. His first major collaboration with a U.S. artist came in 2007, when he landed a feature on Shady Records artist Joe Budden's Mood Muzik 3's album on the popular track "Long Way to Go." In 2010 he won the BNN/State Award for best new artist, a rare accomplishment for a not yet signed Artist. Epic then signed him and released his debut album "The Treatment" which featured his first break through release of the song "Waves", which was remixed a year later (2014) by Robin Schulz, charted as a number one hit in Germany which has led to it's international recognition. Currently Mr. Probz is number one in German and Dutch, hip-hop and pop music. American music seems to have steered clear- a place for him.
