Local Natives Talent Bio:
Originally formed in 2005 in Los Angeles, California, Local Natives is an American indie rock band that is currently signed to Loma Vista Recordings. The band consists of members Taylor Rice (vocals, guitar), Ryan Hahn (guitar, keyboards, mandolin), Kelcey Ayer (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Matt Frazier (drums), and Nik Ewing (bass, keyboards), who together create a one of a kind musical sound. Local Natives have cultivated a large group of very loyal fans and followers, including over 5 million followers on their SoundCloud account, over 400 thousand likes on their Facebook page, and over 100 thousand followers on their Twitter account. The band’s music videos have been viewed millions of times online, such as their video for the hit song “Wide Eyes”, which has individually racked up over 2 million views on YouTube. In January of 2017, it was announced that Local Natives were one of the acts chosen to perform at the very popular and massive music festival Coachella 2017 in Southern California.Since first breaking out on to the music scene in 2005, Local Natives has released a total of 3 full length studio albums which are adored by their fans and music critics alike. Their latest album titled “Sunlit Youth” was a huge hit as it reached #8 on the US Top Rock Albums Chart, and #23 on the US Billboard 200. Local Natives are frequently touring both the US and UK, bringing their unique musical style to hungry music goers everywhere. It seems that the sky is the limit for the band’s success, as their popularity and fan base continue to rapidly grow exponentially larger by the day.
