Born August 7th 1996 and raised in Southport, Merseyside, Holly Lapsley Fletcher better known by her stage name Lapsley is a British singer, songwriter, electronic music artist, and performer that is currently signed to XL Recordings. She is a multi-talented instrumentalist and a very unique artist as she accompanies her singing voice on the piano, guitar, synthesizer, and oboe. She has cultivated a large group of very loyal fans and followers including over 40 thousand likes on her Facebook page, over 15 thousand followers on her Twitter feed, over and her music videos have been viewed millions of time online, including the video for her single “Station, which has individually pulled in over 900 thousand views on YouTube. In January of 2016 it was announced that she will be one of the acts performing at the very popular and massive music festival Coachella 2016 in Southern California. She is a rising star and an artist to watch out for in the very near future, as her popularity and fan base are rapidly growing larger by the day.Since first coming on to the music scene in 2013, Lapsley has released 2 extended plays, 6 singles, and her debut full length studio album titled “Long Way Home” is due to be released in March of 2016. Her music has been very thoroughly appreciated by fans and critics alike, as her single “Falling Short” reached #6 on the UK Indie Singles Chart, and the single “Hurt Me” reached #8 on the Belgium Singles Chart and #9 on the UK Indie Singles Chart. Her rapid success very early in her career comes as no surprise for this extreme talent, as she has catapulted herself into the spotlight of the music industry, and it seems the sky is the limit for the blossoming career of Lapsley.
