Hi-Lo Talent Bio:
Born February 1st 1995 in Rotterdam, Netherlands Oliver Heldens aka Hi-Lo is a Dutch musician and music producer. He specializes in the genres of house, future house, bass house, and big room house. He has over 1 million Facebook likes and at the young age of 20, he appeals to humongous crowd within the generational EDM boom which has recently occurred. He was listed at #34 on the DJ Mag Top 100, a very impressive accomplishment for anybody, let alone a 20 year old.Oliver’s career began in 2013 when he signed to Spinnin’ Records and began releasing hard hitting singles. He released “Stinger” and “Thumper”, tracks which he had worked on with DJ Jacob Van Hage, followed by “Panther” on which he worked with Robby East, and was released under the Oxygen label. He then released single entitled “Gecko” which caught the eye of famed producer Tiesto, who then signed him to his Musical Freedom label. The track was an instant hit as it climbed the ranks on the charts including reaching #1 on the DMC Magazine Buzz Chart, and was named the “Essential New Tune” by BBC’s Pete Tong.
In January 2014 Hi-lo released Heldeep Mixtape, which stylistically combined multiple genres and feels of EDM. It featured imaginative remixes of popular songs from very popular and sought after artists including Garrix’s “Animals”. The press described the remix as “Leaving us with a completely new anthem with a notable melody left intact.” His tour life is off to an incredible start as he has performed at some of the biggest clubs and festivals in the world, including Tomorrowland, Amnesia-Ibiza, EDC, Electric Zoo Festival, Stereosonic, Veld Music Festival, and many more. Hi-Lo’s career may be only starting out, but the impact he has already made on the EDM world should leave his fans assured that he is a force to be reckoned with, as they wait to see what he does next.
